What do you cover?

We believe you should cover what you love. Whether it's tucking your children in at night, like I love to cover my baby brother with his blanket, or pulling your car into the garage to protect it from the heat, rain or snow, we all have someone-or something we love- covet, and cover. At Aid the Journey, Inc. we are continuously canvassing our Clarkston, GA refugee community to determine the best ways to cover life's little emergencies. While our nonprofit's mission began with a bandage we needed to cover a young Syrian girl's wound, our non-profit has evolved to provide medical kits that help cover numerous situations. From forehead thermometers and flashlights to sanitary napkins and baby diapers, our non-profit believes we are compassionately stepping up and filling a much needed, and often over-looked, void when larger agencies help resettle refugees.

We believe our ability to hand-stuff and hand-deliver every single medical kit is one more way to let the newest, resettled members of our community know they are welcome here. We believe we have got them covered while we as a nonprofit continue making a positive impact to help support resettlement efforts for refugees here in Georgia and eventually nationwide.
